Welcome to Torremuelle — a quiet hillside residential area, close to everything, and with very easy access.

What Torremuelle Feels Like

What immediately stands out here is how green and peaceful it feels, especially since Torremuelle is located right between the busy Benalmádena and Fuengirola.

It's a residential area, built into the hills above the sea. You'll mostly find detached villas and townhouses here, many in that classic Andalusian style from the 70s and 90s, which really gives the area a lot of character.

As you go further up the hill, you do start to see more newer developments — mostly townhouses and apartments, often built more like small resorts, with amenities like pools, gyms, and sometimes even co-working spaces.

Views

Torremuelle sits right by the coastline, but it's quite steep, which means a lot of the homes here come with incredible sea views. When you're driving around these small, narrow streets, it doesn't always look like much at first. But once you go behind the walls and gates, a whole different world opens up — with amazing views over the Mediterranean Sea that you wouldn't expect from the outside.

Transport & Getting Around

Easy access is the big advantage of living here. You reach the motorway AP-7 in just a few minutes, and the coastal road A-7 leads straight into the area. The real benefit, however, is the Torremuelle train station, which sits in the lower part next to the Costa Azul Hotel.

So besides using a car for bigger grocery shopping, owning a car is not a must here. You have a local supermarket right by the beach, and there you also find restaurants and cafés, and in nearby Torrequebrada there's a great Mercadona.

Padel & Recreation

My personal favourite is the Torremuelle Racket Center. It's only been around for 3 years, so it's all very high quality with beautiful modern architecture. Here you have padel courts, tennis courts, and a nice café. The community of people playing here is really welcoming, and the staff and management are very friendly — I do recommend it.

Schools

For families with children, Torremuelle has the private British College of Benalmádena. Here students can attend the same school for their entire education, which is something many international families actively look for here on the Costa del Sol.

The Beach

Right below you have Playa de Torremuelle. During the off-season it's a very relaxed and quiet beach, but in peak summer months it can get quite packed with tourists. The good news is you have many other beautiful and less crowded beaches towards Fuengirola, including Playa Carvajal, which is just a short drive or train ride away.
